BOOK REVIEW by Alina Ionescu – “Waverly Hills Incursion” by Bryce Warren

They say don’t judge a book by its cover but it is exactly what I did. I saw the cover for Bryce Warren’s book and it looked creepy and absolutely horror, I had to pick it up!

I started reading it in the evening in a hotel room during my vacation and was captivated right away…

I was reading in the dark and the light from the monitor of the e-reader created shadows that looked like the creepy shadow people from the book…

The entire atmosphere of the book is dark and forbidding.

Ben, the college teacher decides to move to the Waverly Hills apartment complex because they are cheap and close to work. He notices the shadow people, but as each rational person, he considers them a creation of his imagination.

The building is painted in the darkest light by the wonderful words of this creative author. Because the rather shy college teacher needed a temptation, a forbidden fruit, the building lets him meet another tenant, the beautiful mysterious and almost surreal looking Scarlet Snow.

Scarlet Snow looks more like a fantasy creature, something that stepped out of a dream world and brought to life by the evil energy of the building…

The story is very captivating and it is the type of book that will not allow you to put it away until you don’t reach the end of it.

Allow the dark magic of Waverly Hills to capture you and show you a universe where the creeper may or may not be responsible for the series of murders happening in the old sanatorium….

Creepy reading!
