Important business first: home

First of all, good morning everyone! Where’s my coffee….

This morning I woke up very stressed because my work is piling up and I need more hours a day. As I opened my eyes I thought I’m going to do this and this and this…. everything organized and under control.

But life’s never organized and under control. My daughter has a day off at school and she’s so happy she can play the whole day long with me. Yay! “Mommy we can ride bike and paint and play books and paint and ride bike again!!”

Important things do not warn, do not wait, do not forget, do not forgive.

How could I let her down on her day off?

I just stopped and drew for her many little pictures for her to color and she’s been doing it delicately. Had a deep breath, and went on feeling important business were taken care of.

This left me thinking, and I just wanted to make this tiny post, maybe silly? To remind you to stop and love the little things that make you happy. Do NOT take them for granted. Because at the end of the world, those will be the last thing you’ll see.

Take care.
