“A letter to the readers.” by Mar G.-A

This is a post for the readers.

I’m a promoter, so I practically live in the entrails of the process of thinking-writing-creating-releasing-spreading a book, although I’m not a writer.

What is your job? Any answer you give me, I’m certain you need to be motivated, to have a reason, to feel others are happy with what you do. A writer puts their heart and soul into the process. To be an artist means to pour your weakest part in a public bucket where people will come, step on, taste and judge you.

What do I mean with this? Every kind word is appreciated. Every little gesture is greatly received by the author. Take 30 seconds to leave a review, even if it’s a line. If you like a cover, say so! If you like a quote, share it! Couldn’t be easier with Kindle nowadays.

You can make the day of someone, just expressing what you feel when you grab a book.

Behind any piece, there’s a real person. Caring, worrying, working hard to please your senses.

I can tell, every author puts all their love in every word they write. And just, that single fact, should be considered, appreciated… and treasured.

I’m no one. I’m not an author. I’m not a writer. But, I know lots of them (lots) and all of them deserve a kind word for their hard work. Please remember this the next time you take a book.

Thank you.

Mar
