It seems like for the past few years my life has been like a stereotypical country music song; so much of my time and money has gone to my truck and my dogs (I don’t have anything against pure country, it’s one of the most sincere forms of music) My dogs are family, so I would do anything for them, and my truck is almost 13 years old, so there’s obviously going to be issues.

This was my very first flash fiction story. Eye finally found a home for it in the JEA antho, Doorway to Death. A chilling ‘through the eyes of the killer’ look at the games demons play with the unwary. A carelessly misworded covenant made with a demon has left this man with the short end of the stick in this unholy pact. Forced to do battle with the demons of his dreams, one is able to take his place in the body and through powerful sorcery, the happenings of the dream world become apparent and manifest in the world of form, with very final results. Eye hope you enjoy it.

The tiny lights. Sometimes all the little lights make a difference and we can overcome everything. All the well wishes, all the good vibes, every little wish we drop in a well, every star we wish on and hold in our hearts.
All the wishes that we can dance with, every wish we dream and dream in our minds. Its all the little lights, all the shooting stars, all the dimensions, transcending time and space of our imagination. That leads up to that one moment.
If you look closely, can you see them standing in this picture in all the lights? What is going through their minds, that they made it and overcame so much?
I wish for all the little lights to come my way and maybe one day they will reach that special person too. Then maybe we can overcome and dance in the tiny lights.
