“The stereotypical country music song” by Joseph Vasquez

It seems like for the past few years my life has been like a stereotypical country music song; so much of my time and money has gone to my truck and my dogs (I don’t have anything against pure country, it’s one of the most sincere forms of music) My dogs are family, so I would do anything for them, and my truck is almost 13 years old, so there’s obviously going to be issues.

I live in beautiful, sunny Southern California, the longest I've gone without a dog is two weeks, and I'm going to write until I can't anymore.

“Falling” by Paul Zinder

I am falling for everything. Falling for lost dreams. Falling for you, falling for things of the past, falling for shooting stars, falling for wishing, falling further, and further. Falling in the deep waters of my mind. Falling in a sense of no time. Falling too far too fast physically, mentally and emotionally.

Falling too fast in love, falling too fast out of love for other things. I fall hard for a good story and even harder for a good love story. I wish on falling stars. I wish my dreams would fall into my life for real. Everything is falling apart, sometimes that makes way for new things but when they fall too fast, they never can catch up.

I am falling, I want to fly again… Even in my dreams, I fall. I feel like I can never catch up. If I fall, will you help pick me back up? Is there an angel out there that would help a poor soul to get up from a hard fall? A fall that has me falling in life, in those cracks, in those deep caverns of my dreams? the dark caves that seem to never end and run deep in my soul, my veins, the cobwebs in my heart and brain… Falling sucks… I want to climb out but I don’t know if I will ever have that chance again… ’til then I’ll just fall…

I grew up In Detroit MI, I Have also been to over 20 states in The US, Windsor Canada, Nice place . The army gave me a unique perspective in life, and how great we really have it in life seeing a lot of poor places all over the world. There are some great places in the world also and I learned there are a lot of things America could takes notes for and catch up with. I will never understand why we do not have more speed Trains in America for example. I think it would be great for tourism for example here its safe , fun and easy to use.

“Let the rain wash those bad days away” by Paul Zinder

Look to those clouds rolling in. Look deep within. Look, the clouds are getting thicker. It was a bad day, so let it rain. Thank you for the rain, I needed it today. Let it wash away, my thoughts.

Let is wash away those old songs I want to forget. Let it wash away the past. Focus, I have to focus. Walk in the rain, and sit and cry, get it all out. Then go in the field and shout get it all out. Then spin and dance were no one is around , and laugh out load. Get it all out. Let yourself breath again.

Enjoy the rain till the next time it does. Let yourself go in the rain, wash away the past and all the pain, imagine all those drains and fields taking it away. Focus more and get rid of the pain. Each rain drop is a memory. Watch them go away and be reborn again. Enjoy the rain, let it sooth the pain.

Enjoy what makes life so great. Its raining, let it all go away. Then, raise your arms as high as you can, be grateful for the rain, for it gives life. Make a wish and yell it out, write it down on a stone, throw it in the deep waters and make that wish. Water is life, many say.

The rain takes my breath away.

There is a reason it rained today, and I will not hide inside any more. I will embrace the rain, for it has a reason. The rain is my balance, my harmony. I love a good rain.

“When” by Paul Zinder

When I can I see her, the time ticks away. Every second, min, day, month passes by. It sounds shallow to some but romance for others. My heart beats for her. My soul grows to know her more. The rains came, the sun to, a few more full moons.

My breath gets taken away when I see her. Her eyes, her smile the way she carries herself. I work to dam much. Those moments that I do see her, take my breath away and yes best things come to those who wait. She is my light. She is my blanket on a cold day.

She is my rose to guide my way. She comforts me in my darkest hours, those long lost hours working hard I remember her to get threw them. Some times I am so tired I just fall right on the bed and go to sleep. I get a few days of and just lay and dream, because its better to dream then nothing at all.

Sometimes it’s scary because I fall asleep so fast I am just so stone cold tired and can’t even feel my hands or feet. Only she can get me threw. The stars pass, each shooting star I look and wish… When , when I’ll time Permit… I’ll just wait and see, hope against all hope…. This is love and its real love so it can wait.

I just hope against all odds to see her some how some way.. Will see if its in the deck of cards this thing we call fate.
