We are so happy to announce the opening of our Christmas Poetry contest
CHRISTMAS TERROR – POETRY EDITION
We are going to keep things easy:
GUIDELINES
The entry is FREE (completely free)
Poems need to be within these genres: horror, dark fiction. (We’re a horror website after all 😉 )
Poems need to be written in English
Poems don’t have min or max length (we’re not going to rip out your wings 😉 )
WE DON’T KEEP THE RIGHTS OF YOUR MATERIAL. The poem doesn’t have to be exclusive for this contest, it can be already published anywhere else. And if afterwards, you need it removed from the website because of the same reason, there’s no problem at all.
The poems must be sent to theboldmom@gmail with the title and the author name.
One entry per author.
Just one condition: they need to have a minimum quality on grammar and orthography (respecting that each poet might have their own way of expressing themselves).
The submissions will be open until Friday 20th of December and the poll to vote from the 23rd to the 29th.
The winner will be announced on December the 31st!
Every poem will have its own post and featured image, plus a “click to tweet” to be easily shareable. If you want us to tag you on Twitter, please tell us your username in the same email.
PRIZE (Valued at $550 USD)
The complete formatting (ebook and paperback) of your book (without conditions of length or any other, valued at $100)
The ebook cover and paperback wrapping with original artwork by Disturbing Drawings (valued at $150)
One month full promotion (valued at $300)
Collective prize
All the poems accepted in the contest will (if the authors want to participate) be published in a collection, under the shelter of TBM Horror Experts, which profits will go 100% to a charity cause chosen by the winner.
Plus, all the authors will receive a 10% discount on any of our services without, again, an expiration date.
Final notes
– The prize doesn’t have an expiration date, you can keep it until you want to.
– We’ll set all the security we can to avoid cheaters, but if someone is caught doing it, they’re automatically out.
– No voting more than once (we’ll set security for that, of course)
– NOT ALLOWED! content with kids or animal abuse, racism, homophobia and any other obvious intolerable material.
– No one is banned from entering the contest.
