There is a beauty in dark thoughts
as they fall softly upon the soul
and seep into its pores
The comfort in knowing
that you share the sanity
of a thousand madmen
for whom despair is a balm
that soothes their restless existence
And pity those
who do not understand
For they never will feel
the absolute peace
that comes for freeing oneself
from everything
